TBU World Map Available for Download.

Since activity has calmed down at TBU, I thought this might be a good time to make the first version of the world map available for public download! Feel free to check out the houses and build your own map based on it.

Minecraft server update

A ticket has been submitted to Gameservers to get the server updated to the latest version. I am having some issues with the FTP at the moment. Gameservers apparently thinks it's a wonderful idea to not give me complete control over my FTP space. I can't download or change the map, nor can I mess with the settings. (Hence the reason I have to submit a ticket to get this done.)

Not to worry though. We will roll out the new version fairly quickly.

TBU now has a 4 slot Minecraft server.

Tactical Burger Uprising is now home to a private 4-slot Minecraft server. We are running a vanilla edition of the latest version on hard mode. If you are interested in becoming whitelisted, leave a comment here or contact Critical Failure.

TBU Closing

I have stopped playing on TBU. Also, no one is donating. The reason I went with a 1.6 server as opposed to a Source server is so I could play with Darabka (who also doesn't play here.) Since no one is donating, I feel no reason to keep this alive.

Monday Night Militia

This Monday night at 10pm EST, Tactical Burger Uprising will be celebrating cs_militia. This awesome map was excluded from the new Global Offensive game and although it did appear in CS:Source, the 1.6 version is superior by a long shot. This is a night to remember why 1.6 is the best.

I would like to make this a weekly thing, but in reality, weekly events are difficult to do. I would need a lot of help for that. So that said, let's just start with this one time. See you Monday night!

CF and Darabka go 1 on 1 in cs_office

Welcome to Tactical Burger Uprising. This is a 10-slot Counter Strike 1.6 server which is running a bot mod  so that you can join a game and start shooting 24/7. I am currently running the default map rotation which includes all maps (except de_dust2 which I added to the list). I am using my personal Steam Group to run events at the moment. Join the steam group, download mumble and save the IP so you can voice chat, and have fun!
